Hotels reservation

A number of hotel rooms at preferential rates in different price categories has been reserved in Milan and surrounding areas for SCI 2024 delegates.
Given the high demand for hotel accommodation also for other contemporary events (Formula 1 Grand Prix), it is advised that you make your reservation as early as possible in order to have the best choice of available hotels and take advantage of best rates*.

Suggested reservation systems

The Conference has provided for various hotel and room booking systems, in order to access very convenient rates for 3 and 4 star accommodation, especially in the event of advance bookings.
Please explore the most appropriate reservation systems based on your preferences.

Suggested hotels and other accomodation facilities (if not within walking distance of the conference entrance) are located in different districts of Milano but generally well connected to the city’s metro network and therefore allow you to easily reach the conference venue, served by 2 metro lines, 4 metro stations, and the underground railway network (Passante Ferroviario).

Milan city tax

Since September 2012, Milan City Council has introduced a city tax for tourists staying overnight in Milan. Tourists will have to pay the levy in addition to the hotel bill as follows:

  • € 5,00 per person per night for guests staying at 4 and 5-star hotels
  • € 4,00 per person per night for guests staying at 3-star hotels
